Sony is no doubt a giant brand on electronic products like television and home theater systems. But computer is not their core business. Sony is still "new" in this field compared to other popular brands like IBM and Dell. Do you think Sony computer products is worth to purchase, considering the price and the quality?

I don't recommend Sony laptops as they have a history of hardware problems like touchpad and motherboard failures. There are other laptops, at more affordable prices, that are way more reliable than Sony.
