My friend has a new Acer laptop (I don't know the series). Everything is OK but there is a problem: the laptop gets hot fast when it is being used. Sometimes it became so hot that my friend didn't dare to continue his work.
Do you think it is normal? Is it typical for Acer laptop to get hot fast when it is working?
Acer laptops have a bad reputation of overheating and the worst thing that can happen to a laptop is too much heat because it puts a strain on all the components in the laptop like the hard drive, video card, motherboard, etc...
Next time, tell your friend that if they want a reliable laptop then stay away from Acer.
