How to turn-off background sound?

    While working on the computer, I usually listen to music using headphone. When I open Facebook and play Farmville there, the game's background sound will play automatically. The sound toggle seems not to work, so the background sound will mix with the music I play on the computer. Can we disable the background sound from the browser side? I am using Firefox.
