I'm comtemplating this because my PC has become cluttered with lots of small programs and drivers that I don't need anymore. What is the easiest way to go back to factory settings without reformatting:

AMD Athlon Dual Core 235e Processor (2.70 GHz)
Windows 7 Home edition 64 bit

You can't go back to factory settings without re-formating your drive. Depending on what type of computer you have you might have a recovery partition on your hard drive. If you do have a recovery partition then you can revert your operating system back to a time when you first bought the computer.

Otherwise, just uninstall the problem programs and create a new user account. That will help you have a cleaner profile.

I would recommend just re-installing the OS, as it will be the best solution in the long term.
