How can I tell if a Gateway computer has the Gateway System Recovery solution that was installed prior to shipment? I need to know how to check as I have acquired many Gateway systems I want to repair.

You can check for a recovery partition by checking your hard drive for a hidden partition. To find the hidden partition you can use the disk management feature built into Windows.
