DVD shuts-down laptop

    I loaded a formatted blank DVD disk in my laptop and the computer shuts-down and reboots the system. Please comment on a fix.

    I need more information about this problem before I can diagnose it.

    At what point does the laptop restart?

    Also, have you removed the DVD from your drive?
