Is there a way that I can disable the touchpad on my laptop? It is very sensitive and I can't stand to use it. I'd rather use a USB mouse.

If you'd rather use an external USB mouse then disabling the touchpad on a laptop is easy. All you have to is click Start -> Control Panel -> Hardware -> Mouse.

Under the Hardware tab highlight the touchpad mouse and then click the Properties button. Now under Device Usage select Disable and then press OK. Depending on your operating system these steps might vary slightly.
