I am doing a defragment on my computer when the electric power went off. When the power came back and I opened my computer, some of my files became corrupt. I have no backup on them so I need help in returning them to their original state.

If your personal files have become corrupt then you don't have much of a chance of recovering them. Depending on the type of file you might be able to fix the corruption.
What type of file was corrupted?
