I once had a vacation on a developing country. In the house where I visited, they had a TV. I would like to share the videos but the laptop screen is too small that many couldn't see the video anymore. I would like to connect it to the TV so that we could have 2 screens at the same time.
But the problem is I don't know how. There is an AV receiver on the TV. What connectors do I need?
If your laptop has an S-Video, HDMI or VGA port then you can connect it to your TV. If you TV is fairly new then it should have all of the above mentioned ports so all you'd have to do is connect your laptop to the TV using one of the ports and then set your TV to the proper mode and your done.
Sometimes you will have to press the Function + F4 or F5 keys on your laptop to get the videos to display on the TV.
