I’ve had my laptop for just over 6 months. I’ve never cleaned it ever. How do I clean the laptop without damaging it? I want to clean the keypad, screen, and case.

Cleaning laptop?

To clean a laptop you can follow the following procedure:
- Use a can of compressed air to blow out all the dust from the laptop including the vents, keyboard and ports.
- To clean the keyboard and touchpad from grease and other stains use some rubbing alcohol.
- To clean the case you can use Windex. Just spray a small amount of Windex on a paper towel and wipe the whole surface.
- To clean the screen you can use a cleaner specifically designed for a LCD screen or a small amount of Windex. But don't use Windex on the screen too often as it will deteriorate the protective coating on the screen
