I was read somewhere that I could hook up my Acer laptop. But I tried hooking this laptop up to my tv, using the HDMI port. The laptop screen changed and there was nothing on the TV. What did I do wrong?

Every once in a while my computer goe to sleep. Usually I just move the mouse around and it pops back up. Sometimes that doesn't work and I push the power button to turn it off (I know it is bad to do this). Why does the computer do this? How can I get it going again without powering down?

I have an Acer computer. When I look at my disk space it says I have plenty of room on the computer but when I try to download something it tells me my memory is full. Could I need a new memory card even though I still have disk space available on the hard drive?

Acer laptops have a bad reputation of overheating and the worst thing that can happen to a laptop is too much heat because it puts a strain on all the components in the laptop like the hard drive, video card, motherboard, etc...

Next time, tell your friend that if they want a reliable laptop then stay away from Acer.

My friend has a new Acer laptop (I don't know the series). Everything is OK but there is a problem: the laptop gets hot fast when it is being used. Sometimes it became so hot that my friend didn't dare to continue his work.

Do you think it is normal? Is it typical for Acer laptop to get hot fast when it is working?
