How to Find Basic System Information

In this tutorial I’m going to show you how to find some basic system information about your computer using Windows XP. Information like how much RAM you have installed on your system, what type of processor (CPU) or what version of Windows you are running.


Steps:

1. Click on the Start button.

2. Find the My Computer icon and right-click on it. Then click on Properties.

3. Under the General tab you will see what version of Windows you are using, what name your copy of Windows is registered to, what type of processor (CPU) you have and what speed it’s running at and finally how much memory (RAM) you have installed on your system.
