In this tutorial I will show you how to uninstall a program from Windows Vista. Installing some software or program is to do these days. All you have to do insert the CD or double-click the setup file and follow the instructions then your done. Some times you want to uninstall a program from your computer and a lot of people don’t know where to begin. While some programs include uninstallers with them, most programs require you to use Vista to start the process. I always recommend using program uninstaller at all times but if it’s not available follow this simple tutorial and get rid of that unwanted program.


1. Click on the Start button in the lower left corner of your desktop.

2. Now click on the Control Panel button.

3. Once the Control Panel screen appears you will see a whole bunch of icons. Find the Programs icon and then click the Uninstall a Program link.

4. You will now see the the Programs screen and you will have a list of all the programs installed on your computer.

5. Find the program you want to remove or uninstall and click on it once to highlight it.

6. The Uninstall button will now appear near the top of the screen. Click the Uninstall button and follow the on-screen removal instructions.

7. After your program has been uninstalled you may have to restart your computer. You must restart your computer to completely remove all the parts of the program. Now you’re done.


– Even after uninstalling a program you might still see some shortcuts or some files from the program on your computer. You can manually delete these files safely after uninstalling your program.
