Unless you have a photographic memory chances are high your going to need to write some stuff down like appointment, meetings, events and shopping lists. Now with Sticky Notes you can write reminders to yourself on your desktop. The cool thing about the Windows 7 Sticky Notes is that you can create a new note super fast and place the notes anywhere on your desktop. I find using the notes really handy when I’m on the phone and I need to write down a number or name. All of us loved the original sticky notes and I think including this feature in a digital form is a smart move by Microsoft. Now I’ll show you a little tutorial on how to use this great feature.

Steps:

1. Go to the Taskbar and click the Start button.

2. When the Start Menu pops up click on the All Programs link. Then click on the Accessories link and find the Sticky Notes program.

3. Once you’ve found the Sticky Notes program then right click the program and select the Pin to Start Menu or Pin to Taskbar option.

4. Now click the Sticky Notes program and your first note will appear on the desktop.

5. Once you click the actual sticky note then you can start writing your reminders. Then you can move your note anywhere on your desktop.

6. If you want to delete a note then press the X button and the note will be deleted.

7. To create another note you can click the + button on a sticky note or just click the Sticky Note program again. You can create as many notes as your want.
